Lil Shay-Shay came to us at 8 weeks old from a feral colony.  She was timid and unsure of people, but showed potential if she was socialized.  She has been with a foster home for a couple weeks now and has come a long way.  Lil Shay-Shay has become more comfortable with people and she hides less.  She loves to be pet and she purrs loud to let you know.  If she wants attention she meows to get it.  It is very hard to say no to her!  She likes to play with toys made from string, toys with noise spook her a little bit.  Lil Shay-Shay is a lot calmer than most kittens.  She prefers to stay in a small area that she comfortable with, like a bedroom or small area of the house.  She is not as active as some kittens.  She spends her time laying on the bed, playing with her toy or exploring her space.  Lil Shay-Shay is very well behaved, no scratching or tearing or biting.  She is very calm and has a super sweet demeanor.  She likes her environment to be calm and easy going. 

So far, Lil Shay-Shay does not like dogs.  Her foster home has friendly small dogs and she hisses or runs away from them.  She seems to be afraid of dogs.  This may change over time, but she also may never accept and be okay with dogs.  Lil Shay-Shay does very much like other cats and she is eager to be near them.
